Special Session

Special Session Introduction

Abstract: In recent years, the large-scale distributed renewable energy sources have integrated into active distribution networks (ADNs). Its randomness and volatility have brought severe challenges to the safe and economic operation of ADNs. Although the existing research considers the uncertainty of renewable energy and allocates regulating capacity to deal with operational risks, increasingly scale of renewable energy integration and inadequate regulation capacity have brought great challenges to the safety of power system operating. New operational optimization approaches are required. Therefore, with the support of National K&D Program (2019YFE0118400), we organize this Special Session to promote the collaborative operation of ADNs.
Technical Outline of the Session: Our project of National K&D Program (2019YFE0118400) will be finished in this year. We are looking forward to sharing our research achievements with other researchers under the platform of this conference. The theme of our project is about collaborative operation of active distribution network, which is related to the topic "Energy Systems" of this conference and will provide advanced dispatch technologies for the operation of energy system.
