About Ph.D. Dissertation Challenge
The IEEE IAS I&CPS Asia operation committee is pleased to announce the “Ph.D. Dissertation Challenge in I&CPS” and invites Ph.D. students and recent graduates to participate for the chance to win the Grand Prize of $3,000. The competition is aimed at providing an international platform for all Ph.D. researchers in the related fields to present their projects. This award recognizes not just quality research, but also provides a unified platform to share technology innovations and exchange ideas between academia and industry. The presented ideas should demonstrate economy, society, environment or technological advancements in the field of industrial and commercial power system side. The organizing committee has assembled an extraordinary evaluation team comprised of academia and industry experts to review and select finalists and award winner.

Challenge Overview
The Ph.D. Dissertation challenge is open to those who meet either of the following criteria:
Application Procedure
The application includes a two-round procedure:
First Round: Submit the following materials for evaluation to https://iconf.young.ac.cn/pGcQo, The selected finalists in each category will be informed by May 15, 2023, and invited to participate in the on-site 5-Min Challenge.
Second Round: The on-site 5-Min Challenge will take place in a special section of the I&CPS Asia conference. Each candidate will have 5 min to present his work, which is evaluated by the invited reputed experts in Electrical Engineering. One winner will be awarded.
